Your setup path

Path is home base — the five stages from connecting your store to going live, and the task feed that drives each one.

Once you’re connected, you land on Path — a running list of what’s left before your store can go live on agent checkout. It’s home base: it always reflects where setup stands, and every piece of work, before and after go-live, happens here.

The stages

Path moves your store through five stages, each opening once the one before it clears:

  • Draft — you haven’t connected your store yet. Nothing else can start until you do.
  • Connected — your store is paired and Sarvex is reading your catalog for the first time. You’ll see the live product count as it comes in.
  • Profile published — your UCP profile is live at your domain’s /.well-known/ucp, and every product is scored against what agents need to sell it. Your readiness score shows here; every issue found becomes a task below, re-checked continuously as you clear them.
  • Verified — Sarvex runs conformance checks against your own endpoints: request signing, capability negotiation, catalog lookups, and checkout. Monitoring switches on once they all pass, automatically.
  • Active — the finish line. Your endpoints are live, verified, and monitored — any agent that reads your profile can transact with you. Reaching Active is going live; there’s no separate switch.

There’s also a state outside this progression:

  • Suspended — a condition, not a step. It means conformance checks started failing or your endpoints have been unhealthy for a sustained period — the tasks on your Path explain which. It lifts automatically once the cause clears.

Once Active, Path also displays two things at a glance, not as work: agent orders this week, flowing into your store as they land, and a consistency check showing how many products, if any, have drifted from what agents see.

The task feed

Everything actionable on your Path arrives as a task, grouped by what it needs from you:

  • Needs you now — things only you can resolve. An empty list says so, with wording that changes by stage — e.g. “your import is running” while connecting, or “we’ll surface anything that drifts” once Active.
  • What we’re doing for you — work Sarvex is already handling automatically, shown so you can see it’s in progress (a catalog audit running, a first sync pulling in your products).
  • Waiting on an external party — a task that’s stalled on someone other than you or Sarvex.
  • Done — resolved tasks, kept for reference.

Each task carries one of four resolution types, shown on its card:

  • One-click — Sarvex has a proposed fix ready; you review and apply it.
  • Guided steps — a short walkthrough for something Sarvex can’t do for you directly.
  • Automatic — nothing to click; Sarvex is handling it and the task clears itself once it’s done.
  • Waiting — blocked on an external party, not on you.

Clicking a task opens a drawer with the full detail: what was found, why it matters, and — for one-click tasks — the proposed fix, marked high-trust or low-trust so you know how much to double-check it. Applying a fix pushes it straight to your store; you can revert to the original value if needed. Without an automatic fix, the task points you to update it directly in your store. Guided-step tasks walk you through doing it yourself; some just need a “mark as done” once you have.

Every task drawer is a shareable link: opening one updates the page’s URL, so you can send a teammate straight to a specific task instead of describing where to find it.

Path isn’t a one-time checklist. A pairing failure, a conformance regression, drift between your store and what agents see — anything that breaks later shows up here as a new task, the same as during onboarding.
